This roomy country house is part of a set of rehabilitated old farm buildings. The guest-house/gallery adjoining the owner's house in the middle of a small sundgauvian village, located at the foot of the Alsatian Jura, decorated with sixty paintings, welcomes you the whole year, since end of 2007.
The
restored regional furniture together with a collection of antiques
gathered in the flea markets of the area, contrast with contemporary
elements, reflect an inimitable atmosphere. Omnipresent all over the
house, the light wood is
synonym of warmth : exposed beams, stairs and floors, the regional
style (walls in rubble stones, half-timbering
and the roof covered
with old flat «beaver's tail» tiles) will delight all
old stone lovers.
